Many people are all “atwitter” about the social media Twitter.  But not me. Not at least for business communication.

President Trump is obviously a fan of Twitter since it uses it on a daily basis to communicate his thoughts and perspective.  But when it comes to communicating with customers or prospects there is a problem.

The problem being that if they send you a tweet, they expect a response in a matter of two or three minutes.  For a business to be effective on Twitter you need to have a person dedicated to Twitter full time.  Eight hours a day, every day.  That’s expensive and time consuming, which is why I don’t recommend Twitter.  There are lots of other ways to keep in touch with customers and prospects that are better than Twitter.
