It continues to amaze me that people will have a business with a web site but their e-mail address doesn’t match their web site.

Putting when you have a professional web site just does not give a professional look to your business.

Your business card should read anything else is unprofessional and certainly does not create the right image for your business.  If you don’t take care of your image why should anyone expect you to take care of them?

And what’s important on your business card?  I saw one card where two-thirds of the card was taken up with the logo, leaving the name, address, and contact information crammed in with small print that was not easy to read without a magnifying glass.

Sure, you want the name of your company on the card—you’re proud of the business, but make it reasonable in size.  The people you give a card to want to be able to easily see your name, phone number, and e-mail address.  That’s what is important to them, not some huge logo.

If you want their business you should make it as easy as possible for them to contact you.
Keep it simple.
